This is the fourth update for 2015 on Bubba Starling and Logan Moon. Bubba Starling was the Royals first round pick in 2011 and is from Gardner, KS. Starling is still young as he will be 23 on August 3rd. Moon was drafted by the Royals in the sixth round in 2014. Moon played in college at Missouri Southern and is a bit older having turned 23 on February 15. Both Starling and Moon started out 2015 as teammates in the outfield at Class A Advanced Wilmington. A hot start by Bubba earned him a promotion to Double A Northwest Arkansas in late April.
Bubba had his first week that clicked at Double A as he hit 8 for 24 with 2 2B, 3 HR, 8 RBI, 5 R, 1 SB and 2 BB in 6 games. When he was at Wilmington he hit .386/.471/.614 with 2 HR, 12 RBI, 6 R, 2 SB and 7 BB in 12 games. For the season at NW Arkansas he is now hitting .245/.327/.490 with 3 HR, 8 RBI, 12 R, 1 SB in 13 games.
Logan continues to get his bat going as he hit 5 for 16 with 0 HR, 2 RBI, 1 R, 1 SB and 1 BB in six games this week. For the season he is hitting .260/.299/.288 with 0 HR, 8 RBI, 6 R, 4 SB and 4 BB in 22 games.
