D'Andre Toney traded to Astros

D'Andre Toney was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Houston Astros to complete a March transaction. Toney had been the player to be named later in the trade that also sent Kevin Chapman to the Astros in exchange for Humberto Quintero and Jason Bourgeois. Toney is an outfielder who played 2011 at Rookie ball and hit .340/.432/.587 with 5 HR, 29 RBI, 32 R and SB in 43 games. He was originally drafted by the Royals in the 14th round in 2011. Toney turned 20 on January 24.
