Arizona jumped on Florida State starter Brandon Leibrandt fast and furious forcing him from the game after registering only one out. Leibrandt was responsible for six runs although only two were earned due to three Seminole errors. His counterpart Kurt Heyer was the traditional Wildcat work horse going over seven and had the final line of 7.1 IP, 9 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 3 K in 123 pitches while pushing his record to 13-2. Robert Refsnyder was the biggest of many productive Arizona bats as he was 3 for 5 with a solo home run, one RBI, two runs and two steals. Arizona advances to the championship best of three series which starts Sunday and will face the winner of Arkansas and South Carolina.
