Diamondbacks call up Trevor Bauer

The Arizona Diamondbacks have called up Trevor Bauer and he will make his MLB debut tonight against the Atlanta Braves. The RHP started the season with Double A Mobile where he was 7-1 with a 1.68 ERA, 60 K, 1.22 WHIP in 48.1 IP over 8 games. After being promoted to Triple A Reno he was 4-0 with a 2.82 ERA, 56 K, 1.43 WHIP in 44.2 IP over 8 games. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks with the third pick in the first round in 2011. Bauer turned 21 on January 17.
