South Carolina 3 Arkansas 2 CWS 2012 game 13

South Carolina advances to the College World Series finals for the third straight year as they knocked off Arkansas 3 to 2. The hope for a three-peat is still alive. Closer Matt Price went the final three innings to lock down the game and earn the win striking out five including the last batter of the game. Arkansas pitcher Colby Suggs couldn't find the strike zone in the seventh walking three including Christian Walker with the bases loaded to force in what would be the winning run. Joey Pankake provided plenty of offense from the lead off spot for the Gamecocks going 2 for 3 with a RBI, run and walk. South Carolina plays Arizona in the best of three championship series with the first game Sunday.
