Michael Bowden traded to Orioles

Michael Bowden was traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Baltimore Orioles on April 4, 2015 for cash. He pitched in 2014 for the Saitama Seibu Lions in Japan where he was 2-1, 4.50 ERA, 30 K, 1.55 WHIP in 40.0 IP over 36 games. The RHP has six seasons MLB experience with the Red Sox and Cubs as he was 3-5, 4.51 ERA, 100 K, 1.40 WHIP, .262 BAA in 133.2 IP over 103 games. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox with the 47th pick of the first round in 2005 and traded to the Cubs in 2012. Bowden will be 29 on September 9th.
