UCLA jumped out 5-0 in the first inning and never looked back as they beat Stony Brook 9-1. Stony Brook wasted a great chance in the second by leaving the bases loaded without scoring. Pat Cantwell gave Stony Brook their only run with a solo home run in the third. Adam Plutko ran his record to 12-3 as he held the Sea Wolves to five hits over seven innings while also striking out seven. UCLA will play the winner of the Arizona\Florida State game Sunday while Stony Brook will face the loser in an elimination game.
