Nick Longhi traded to Reds

Nick Longhi was traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Cincinnati Reds on July 2, 2017 in exchange for international signing bonus pool space. The first baseman hit 62 for 237, .262/.306/.401 with 6 HR, 33 RBI, 26 R, 0 SB in 62 games at Double A Portland in 2017. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox in the 30th round in 2013. Longhi will be 22 on August 16.
