Outfielder Rutherford hit 77 for 274, .281/.342/.391 with 2 HR, 30 RBI, 41 R, 9 SB in 71 games at Class A Charleston in 2017. He was originally drafted by the Yankees with the 18th pick of the first round in 2016. Rutherford turned 20 on May 2nd.
Outfielder Polo had split 2017 between Tampa and Double A Trenton. He hit 68 for 235, .289/.346/.434 with 4 HR, 20 RBI, 42 R, 20 SB in 60 games at Tampa and 21 for 55, .382/.460/.545 with 1 HR, 17 RBI, 14 R, 7 SB in 14 games at Trenton. He originally signed with the Pirates in 2012 as an amateur free agent out of Columbia and was traded to the Yankees in 2016. Polo will be 23 on August 23.
