Dillon McNamara was traded by the New York Yankees to the San Francisco Giants on July 23, 2017 for TBD. The RHP had split 2017 between Class A Advanced Tampa and Double A Trenton. He was 1-0, 1.17 ERA, 17 K, 0.70 WHIP, .154 BAA, 8 SV in 23.0 IP over 16 games at Tampa and 0-2, 6.17 ERA, 12 K, 1.80 WHIP, .271 BAA, 1 SV in 11.2 IP over 10 games at Trenton. He was originally drafted by the Yankees in the 27th round in 2013. McNamara turned 25 on October 6th.
