Ivan Rodriguez MLB Hall of Fame 2017

Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2017 along with Jeff BagwellTim Raines, John Schuerholz and Allan H "Bud" Selig. Rodriguez was an catcher with 21 seasons MLB experience playing with the Texas Rangers (1991-2002, 2009), Florida Marlins (2003), Detroit Tigers (2004-2008), New York Yankees (2008), Houston Astros (2009) and Washington Nationals (2010-2011). For his MLB career he hit .296/.334/.464 with 311 HR, 1332 RBI, 1354 R, 127 SB in 2543 games. His MLB career caught stealing rate was 46%.

I believe his three best seasons were 1999 when he hit .332/.356/.558 with 35 HR, 113 RBI, 116 R, 25 SB in 144 games, 1996 when he hit .300/.342/.473 with 19 HR, 86 RBI, 116 R, 5 SB in 153 games and 2003 when he hit .297/.369/.474 with 16 HR, 85 RBI, 90 R, 10 SB in 144 games.

Rodriguez won the American League MVP in 1999.

He was an All-Star 14 times (1992-2001, 2004-2007). He won 10 Gold Glove Awards (1992-2001, 2004, 2006, 2007) and seven Silver Slugger Awards (1994-1999, 2004). He was a one time World Series Champion (2003).
