Will Lamb was traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Colorado Rockies on July 24, 2017 for cash. The LHP had split 2017 between Double A Birmingham and Triple A Charlotte. He was 0-0, 1.98 ERA, 16 K, 1.32 WHIP, .213 BAA in 13.2 IP over 9 games at Birmingham and 0-1, 7.46 ERA, 35 K, 1.86 WHIP, .302 BAA, 1 SV in 35.0 IP over 17 games at Charlotte. He was originally drafted by the Rangers in the second round in 2011 and was traded to the White Sox in 2015. Lamb will be 27 on September 9th.
