Lane Thomas traded to Cardinals

Lane Thomas was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the St Louis Cardinals on July 2, 2017 in exchange for international signing bonus pool space. The outfielder hit 69 for 274, .252/.319/.383 with 4 HR, 38 RBI, 34 R, 8 SB in 73 games at Class A Advanced Dunedin in 2017. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the fifth round in 2014. Thomas will be 22 on August 23.
