Futures Game 2017 US Team Catchers

The rosters have been revealed for the 2017 Futures Game to be played on July 9 at Marlins Park, home of the Miami Marlins. Every Major League team has at least one player on either the US or World roster and some teams have more than one. In this post I'll be going over the catchers on the US team.

Zack Collins is a right-hand throwing and left-hand hitting catcher at Class A Advanced Winston-Salem of the Chicago White Sox. He hit 49 for 236, .208/.364/.398 with 10 HR, 29 RBI, 40 R, 0 SB in 71 games. He was originally drafted by the White Sox with the tenth pick of the first round in 2016. Collins was born in Pembroke Pines, FL and turned 22 on February 6th.

Chance Sisco is a right-hand throwing and left-hand hitting catcher at Triple A Norfolk of the Baltimore Orioles. He hit 59 for 218, .271/.344/.385 with 3 HR, 28 RBI, 31 R, 2 SB in 62 games. He was originally drafted by the Orioles in the second round in 2013. Sisco was born in Corona, CA and turned 22 on February 24. He was also on the 2016 team.
