Nick Franklin traded to Angels

Nick Franklin was traded by the Milwaukee Brewers to the Los Angeles Angels on June 30, 2017 for a PTBNL. This season the outfielder hit 16 for 82, .195/.258/.317 with 2 HR, 10 RBI, 7 R, 2 SB in 53 games with the Brewers in 2017. Over five MLB seasons with the Angels, Brewers, Rays and Mariners he hit .216/.284/.365 with 24 HR, 94 RBI, 81 R, 17 SB in 288 games. He was originally drafted by the Mariners with the 27th pick of the first round in 2009. Franklin turned 26 on March 2nd.
