James Lovett traded to Mariners
James Lovett was traded by the Philadelphia Phillies to the Seattle Mariners on July 3, 2017 in exchange for international signing bonus pool space. The catcher was 0 for 2 in 1 game at Class A Short Season Williamsport in 2017 after going 0 for 12 in 3 games at Rookie Gulf Coast in 2016. He originally signed with the Marlins in 2016 as a non-drafted free agent. Lovett turned 23 on May 27.
