James Ramsey traded to Dodgers

James Ramsey was traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 10, 2016 along with Zach Walters for cash.

Ramsey is an  outfielder who hit .243/.327/.382 with 12 HR, 42 RBI, 46 R, 3 SB in 126 games at Triple A Columbus in 2015. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals with the 23rd pick of the first round in 2012 and traded to the Indians in 2014. Ramsey turned 26 on December 19.

Walters is an outfielder who split 2015 between Columbus and the Indians. He hit .249/.310/.416 with 10 HR, 48 RBI, 39 R, 3 SB in 91 games at Columbus and .133/.133/.133 with 0 HR, 3 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 12 games with the Indians. Over three MLB seasons with the Indians and Nationals he hit .182/.233/.394 with 10 HR, 21 RBI, 18 R, 0 SB in 82 games. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the ninth round in 2010, traded to the Nationals in 2011 and traded to the Indians in 2014. Walters will be 27 on September 5th.
