Kyle Kubitza traded to Rangers

Kyle Kubitza was traded by the Los Angeles Angels to the Texas Rangers on June 21, 2016 for cash. The shortstop hit .253/.349/.366 with 2 HR, 19 RBI, 22 R, 6 SB in 54 games at Triple A Salt Lake in 2016. He did have a stint with the Angels in 2015 hitting 7 for 36, .194/.256/.194 with 0 HR, 1 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB in 19 games. He was originally drafted by the Braves in the third round in 2011 and was traded to the Angels in 2015. Kubitza will be 26 on July 15.
