Chris Taylor was traded by the Seattle Mariners to the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 19, 2016. The Mariners in exchange received Zach Lee.
Taylor is a shortstop who had split 2016 between Triple A Tacoma and the Mariners. He hit .312/.387/.457 with 3 HR, 29 RBI, 41 R, 12 SB in 63 games at Tacoma and 1 for 3, .333/.333/.333 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 2 games with the Mariners. Over three MLB seasons with the Mariners he hit .240/.296/.296 with 0 HR, 10 RBI, 25 R, 8 SB in 86 games. He was originally drafted by the Mariners in the fifth round in 2012. Taylor will be 26 on August 29.
RHP Lee was 7-5, 4.89 ERA, 57 K, 1.49 WHIP, .315 BAA in 73.2 IP over 13 games at Triple A Oklahoma City in 2016. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers with the 28th pick of the first round in 2010. Lee will be 25 on September, 13.
