Franderlin Romero traded to Orioles

Franderlin Romero was traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Baltimore Orioles on May 24, 2016 for future considerations. RHP Romero was 1-4, 2.87 ERA, 42 K, 1.17 WHIP, .250 BAA in 47.0 IP over 8 games at Class A Dayton to start 2016. He originally signed with the Reds in 2010 as an amateur free agent out of Venezuela. Romero turned 23 on February 21.
