Jason Bourgeois traded to White Sox
Jason Bourgeois was traded by the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Chicago White Sox on May 16, 2016 for cash. The outfielder had hit 37 for 104, .356/.385/.442 with 0 HR, 9 RBI, 13 R, 5 SB in 33 games at Triple A Reno to start 2016. Over eight MLB seasons with the Reds, Rays, Royals, Astros, Brewers and White Sox he hit .253/.300/.326 with 6 HR, 44 RBI, 97 R, 54 SB in 317 games. He was originally drafted by the Rangers in the second round in 2000. Bourgeois turned 34 on January 4th.
