Brendan Ryan traded to Angels
Brendan Ryan was traded by the Washington Nationals to the Los Angeles Angels on May 10, 2016 for a PTBNL and cash. The shortstop had hit 10 for 76, .263/.305/.382 with 1 HR, 8 RBI, 7 R, 1 SB in 21 games at Triple A Syracuse to start 2016. Over 10 MLB seasons with the Angels, Yankees, Mariners and Cardinals he has hit .233/.293/.314 with 19 HR, 203 RBI, 303 R, 67 SB in 893 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals in the seventh round in 2003. Ryan turned 34 on March 26.
