Mel Rojas Jr traded to Braves
Mel Rojas Jr was traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Atlanta Braves on May 9, 2016 for cash. The outfielder had hit 4 for 26, .154/.214/.269 with 0 HR, 3 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 12 games at Triple A Indianapolis to start 2016. He was originally drafted by the Pirates in the third round in 2010. Rojas turned 26 on May 24.
