Eury Perez traded to Rays

Eury Perez was traded by the Houston Astros to the Tampa Bay Rays on June 23, 2016 for cash. The outfielder hit .267/.298/.385 with 2 HR, 16 RBI, 17 R, 9 SB in 52 games at Triple A Fresno in 2016. Over four MLB seasons with the Braves, Yankees and Nationals he hit 36 for 142, .254/.307/.282 with 0 HR, 5 RBI, 16 R, 8 SB in 73 games. He originally signed with the Nationals in 2007 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Perez turned 26 on May 30.
