The 2012 season is behind us and I'm checking how picks 11 to 20 of the 2008 draft did this season. Traditionally players drafted out of college advance faster than those drafted out of high school and pitchers usually advance faster than position players. Some players might also be traded to help their team get an established player that can help their team improve immediately.

The Los Angeles Dodgers drafted RHP Ethan Martin 15th out of Stephens County High School in Toccoa, GA. He split the 2012 between the Dodgers and Phillies organizations after being traded in July. Before the traded he pitched with the Dodgers Double A team Chattanooga and was 8-6 with a 3.58 ERA, 112 K, 1.27 WHIP in 118.0 IP over 20 games.
