Nick Johnson retires

Nick Johnson announced his retirement from playing baseball in January 2013. The 1B\DH had ten seasons MLB experience playing with the Orioles, Yankees, Marlins and Nationals\Expos. For his MLB career he hit .268/.399/.441 with 95 HR, 398 RBI, 430 R, 29 SB in 832 games. His best season was 2006 when he hit .290/.428/.520 with 23 HR, 77 RBI, 100 R, 10 SB in 147 games with the Nationals. He was originally drafted by the Yankees in the third round in 1996.
