Royals should trade for Giancarlo Stanton

The Kansas City Royals have made some positive moves this off season and should swing for the fences to get one of the best players in the game. Giancarlo Stanton was the big man left standing after the Marlins fire sale and he wants out. The Royals should make every effort to get him and make a major upgrade in right field. Stanton has proven himself to be an elite power hitter and adding him to the line up would be beyond anything even talented Wil Myers would have done. To clear the spot the Royals could start with Jeff Francoeur. As much as I like Frenchy it has to be done and the Marlins would gain a clubhouse leader to help mold the young masses they are assembling. Throw in Luke Hochevar to give the Marlins a veteran presence who still has a glimmer of hope of turning the corner himself. To fill out the trade load up a team bus with as many minor league players as they want and send it south. Shortstop Christian Colon and LHP Ryan Verdugo might be two they would be interested in. Whatever it takes, get it done.
