Chris Leroux traded to Blue Jays

Chris Leroux was traded by the Philadelphia Phillies to the Toronto Blue Jays on April 3, 2016 for cash. The RHP split 2015 between Double A Reading and Triple A Lehigh Valley after being traded by the Brewers where he pitched for Triple A Colorado Springs. He was 1-3, 8.15 ERA, 17 K, 1.92 WHIP, .347 BAA in 17.2 IP over 7 games with 1 GS at Colorado Springs, 0-0, 2.57 ERA, 5 K, 1.00 WHIP, .231 BAA in 7.0 IP in 1 GS at Reading and 3-3, 2.82 ERA, 40 K, 1.09 WHIP, .210 BAA in 60.2 IP over 22 games with 3 GS at Lehigh Valley. He does have six seasons MLB experience 2009-2014 with the Yankees, Pirates and Marlins going 1-3, 6.03 ERA, 66 K, 1.70 WHIP, .298 BAA in 71.2 IP over 65 games. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the seventh round in 2005. Leroux turned 32 on April 14.
