Mat Latos was traded by the Miami Marlins to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 30, 2015 along with Michael Morse and cash. The Marlins in exchange received Jeff Brigham, Victor Araujo, Kevin Guzman and cash from the Dodgers. The Atlanta Braves were also involved and they received Hector Olivera, Paco Rodriguez and Zack Bird from the Dodgers and the Marlins' 2016 competive balance draft pick.
