Cody Martin traded to Athletics

Cody Martin was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Oakland Athletics on July 2, 2015 in exchange for international slot considerations. The RHP had split 2015 between Triple A Gwinnett and the Braves. He was 1-3, 2.10 ERA, 33 K, 0.96 WHIP, .198 BAA, 1 SV in 34.1 IP over 7 games at Gwinnett and 2-3, 5.40 ERA, 24 K, 1.43 WHIP, .296 BAA in 21.2 IP over 21 games with the Braves. He had three blown saves with the Braves. He was originally drafted by the Braves in the seventh round in 2011. Martin will be 26 on September 25.
