Steve Cishek traded to Cardinals

Steve Cishek was traded by the Miami Marlins to the St Louis Cardinals on July 24, 2015. The Marlins in  exchange received Kyle Barraclough. 

RHP Cishek split 2015 between Double A Jacksonville and the Marlins. He was 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 4 K, 0.83 WHIP, .217 BAA, 2 SV in 6.0 IP over 5 games at Jacksonville and 2-6, 4.50 ERA, 28 K, 1.59 WHIP, .291 BAA, 3 SV in 32.0 IP over 32 games with the Marlins. He had blown four saves in 2015 with the Marlins. Over six MLB seasons with the Marlins he was 17-20, 2.86 ERA, 312 K, 1.22 WHIP, .230 BAA, 94 SV in 289.2 IP over 284 games. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the fifth round in 2007. Cishek turned 29 on June 18.

RHP Barraclough split 2015 between Class A Advanced Palm Beach and Double A Springfield. He was 1-0, 0.60 ERA, 23 K, 1.20 WHIP, .167 BAA, 4 SV in 15.0 IP over 11 games at Palm Beach and 2-0, 3.28 ERA, 28 K, 1.58 WHIP, .211 BAA, 8 SV in 24.2 IP over 23 games at Springfield. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals in the seventh round in 2012. Barraclough turned 25 on May 23.
