Justin Sellers traded to White Sox

Justin Sellers was traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Chicago White Sox on July 30, 2015 for a PTBNL or cash. The shortstop had split 2015 between Rookie Gulf Coast, Class A Advanced Bradenton, Triple A Indianapolis and the DL which an Achilles tendon injury. He hit .348/.375/.348 with 0 HR, 2 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 7 games at Gulf Coast, .316/.350/.368 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 5 games at Bradenton and .100/.250/.100 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 4 games at Indianapolis. He does have four seasons MLB experience with the Indians and Dodgers hitting .198/.280/.294 with 3 HR, 17 RBI, 33 R, 1 SB in 99 games. He was originally drafted by the Athletics in the sixth round in 2005. Sellers turned 29 on February 1st.
