Trea Turner traded to Nationals

Trea Turner was traded by the San Diego Padres to the Washington Nationals on June 14, 2015 to officially complete an earlier deal. The shortstop was hitting .322/.385/.471 with 5 HR, 35 RBI, 31 R, 11 SB in 58 games at Double A San Antonio. He was originally drafted by the Padres with the 13th pick of the first round in 2014. Turner turned 22 on June 30.
