Brandon Moss traded to Cardinals

Brandon Moss was traded by the Cleveland Indians to the St Louis Cardinals on July 30, 2015. The Indians in exchange received Rob Kaminsky.

Moss is an OF\1B who hit .217/.288/.407 with 15 HR, 50 RBI, 36 R, 0 SB in 94 games with the Indians in 2015. Over nine MLB seasons with the Cardinals, Indians, Athletics, Phillies, Pirates and Red Sox he has hit .243/.320/.452 with 106 HR, 348 RBI, 301 R, 8 SB in 720 games. He was originally drafted by the Red Sox in the eighth round in 2002. Moss will be 32 on September 16.

LHP Kaminsky had pitched at Class A Advanced Palm Beach where he was 6-5, 2.09 ERA, 79 K, 1.16 WHIP, .228 BAA in 94.2 IP over 17 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals with the 28th pick of the first round in 2013. Kaminsky will be 21 on September 2nd.
