Tyler Greene Traded to Padres
Tyler Greene was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the San Diego Padres on April 22, 2014 for a player to be named later. Greene is a utility player with five seasons MLB experience who has played 2B\SS\3B\OF for the White Sox, Astros and Cardinals. he trade he played at Triple A Gwinnett of the Braves where he hit .200/.195/.375 with 1 HR, 4 RBI, 5 R, 1 SB in 1 SB in 12 games. For his MLB career he has hit .224/.289/.356 with 17 HR, 61 RBI, 86 R, 28 SB in 288 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals with the 30th pick of the first round in 2005. Greene will be 31 on August 17.
