Blake Forsythe traded to Athletics

Blake Forsythe was traded by the New York Mets to the Oakland Athletics on April 14, 2014 for future considerations. The catcher played in 2013 at Double A Binghamton where he hit .192/.271/.362 with 10 HR, 33 RBI, 36 R, 3 SB in 88 games. He was originally drafted by the Mets in the third round in 2010. Forsythe will be 25 on July 31.
