Like many that play fantasy baseball I have watched many players start the season with a slump. The three I'm about to talk about all happen to be on my team. The positive is that all three are starting to trend upwards with their hitting. They are Allen Craig, Mike Moustakas and Kyle Seager.
Over his last 10 games Craig has seen his average rise more than 30 points from .143 to .179. A couple more positives are that he had hits in seven of those games and two were multi hit games. Three of his hits in the 10 game span went for extra bases including one home run. He has really rebounded from his season low of .088 on April 11 not counting his 0-fer on opening day.
Moustakas was mired in such a deep hole to start the season that his average has sky rocketed over 50 points in the last 10 games alone going from .100 to .153. He has had hits in six of those games with one multi hit game. Over than span he has five extra base hits including an impressive four home runs. He started his season hitless in his first five games going 0 for 18 and was at .038 after another 0-fer the game after his first hit on April 8. He has found his power stroke and his hitting continues to improve with more confidence.
Seager has been bobbing up and down as his average over the last ten has gone from .162 to .179. While he had hits in only five of those games three included multi hits. He has had three extra base hits including his first two home runs of the season in his most recent game. His low point was April 3 when he was hitting .091.
