Chad Tracy retires
Chad Tracy announced his retirement from playing baseball in April 2014. The 3B\1B had nine seasons MLB experience playing with the Diamondbacks (2004-2009), Cubs (2010), and Nationals (2012-2013). He had played in 2011 in Japan for the Hiroshima Carp. For his MLB career he hit .274/.333/.439 with 86 HR, 358 RBI, 317 R, 11 SB in 938 games. He was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the seventh round in 2001. Tracy was 33 at the time of his retirement.
