Preston Guilmet traded to Orioles

Preston Guilmet was traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Baltimore Orioles on April 7, 2014. In exchange the Orioles received Torsten Boss. 

RHP Guilmet split 2013 between Triple A Columbus and the Indians. He was 5-4, 1.68 ERA, 72 K, 0.89 WHIP, 20 SV in 64.1 IP over 49 games at Columbus and was 0-0, 10.13 ERA, 1 K, 2.06 WHIP in 5.1 Ip over 4 games with the Indians. He was originally drafted by the Indians in the ninth round in 2009. Guilmet will be 27 on July 27.

Boss is a 2B\OF played in 2013 at Class A Delmarva where he hit .238/.333/.358 with 7 HR, 45 RBI, 44 R, 6 SB in 106 games. He was originally drafted by the Orioles in the eighth round in 2012. Boss turned 23 on December 27.
