Elmer H Flick was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1963 along with John Clarkson, Sam Rice and Eppa Rixey. Flick was an outfielder with 13 seasons MLB experience playing with the Philadelphia Phillies (1898-1901), Philadelphia Athletics (1902), Cleveland Bronchos (1902) and Cleveland Naps (1903-1910). For his MLB career he hit .313/.389/.445 with 48 HR, 756 RBI, 950 R, 330 SB in 1483 games.
I believe his best three seasons were 1900 when he hit .367/.441/.545 with 11 HR, 110 RBI, 106 R, 35 SB in 138 games, 1901 when he hit .333/.399/.500 with 8 HR, 88 RBI, 112 R, 30 SB in 138 games and 1899 when he hit .342/.407/.445 with 2 HR, 98 RBI, 98 R, 31 SB in 127 games.
Flick was the American League batting champ in 1905 (.308). He led the American League in triples in 1905 (18), 1906 (22) and 1907 (18). He led the NL in RBI in 1900. He led the AL in runs in 1906 (98). He led the AL in stolen bases in 1904 (38) and 1906 (39).
