Willie H (Wee Willie) Keeler was inducted into the fourth MLB Hall of Fame class in 1939 along with Cap Anson, Edward Collins, Charles Comiskey, Candy Cummings, Buck Ewing, Lou Gehrig, Old Hoss Radbourn, George Sisler and Albert Spalding. Keeler was an outfielder with 19 seasons MLB experience playing with the New York Giants (1892-1893, 1910), Brooklyn Grooms (1893), Baltimore Orioles (1894-1898), Brooklyn Superbas (1899-1902) and New York Highlanders (1903-1909). For his MLB career he hit .341/.388/.415 with 33 HR, 810 RBI, 1719 R, 495 SB in 2123 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1894 when he hit .371/.427/.517 with 5 HR, 94 RBI, 165 R, 32 SB in 129 games, 1896 when he hit .386/.432/.496 with 4 HR, 82 RBI, 153 R, 67 SB in 126 games and 1895 when he hit .377/.429/.494 with 4 HR, 78 RBI, 162 R, 47 SB in 131 games.
Keeler twice led the National League in hitting: 1897 (.424) and 1898 (.385). He led the NL in runs in 1899 (140). He had 8 seasons with over 200 hits.
