Sam Rice MLB Hall of Fame 1963

Edgar C Rice was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1963 along with John Clarkson, Elmer Flick and Eppa Rixey. Rice was an outfielder with 20 seasons MLB experience playing with the Washington Senators (1915-1933) and Cleveland Indians (1934). For his MLB career he hit .322/.374/.427 with 34 HR, 1078 RBI, 1514 R, 351 SB in 2404 games. 

I believe his three best seasons were 1925 when he hit .350/.388/.442 with 1 HR, 87 RBI, 111 R, 26 SB in 152 games, 1923 when he hit .316/.381/.450 with 3 HR, 75 RBI, 117 R, 20 SB in 148 games and 1930 when he hit .349/.407/.457 with 1 HR, 73 RBI, 121 R, 13 SB in 147 games. 

Rice led the American league in triples in 1923 (18). He led the AL in steals in 1920 (63).

Rice won the World Series Championship with the Senators in 1924.
