Red Faber MLB Hall of Fame 1964

Urban C (Red) Faber was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1964 along with Luke Appling, Burleigh Grimes, Miller Huggins, Timothy Keefe, Henry Manush and Monte Ward. Faber was a RHP with 20 seasons MLB experience all with the Chicago White Sox (1914-1933). For his MLB career he was 254-213 with a 3.15 ERA, 1471 K, 1.30 WHIP, 28 SV, 273 complete games, 29 shut outs in 4086.2 IP over 669 games. 

I believe his three best seasons were 1915 when he was 24-14 with a 2.55 ERA, 182 K, 1.21 WHIP, 2 SV, 21 complete games, 2 shut outs in 299.2 IP over 50 games, 1921 when he was 25-15 with a 2.48 ERA, 124 K, 1.15 WHIP, 1  SV, 32 complete games, 4 shut outs in 330.2 IP over 43 games and 1920 when he was 23-13 with a 2.99 ERA, 108 K, 1.32 WHIP, 1 SV, 28 complete games, 2 shut outs in 319.0 IP over 40 games. 

Faber was the American League ERA leader in 1921 and 1922 (2.81). He led the AL in saves in 1914 (4).

Faber won the World Series Championship with the White Sox in 1917.
