Joseph V McCarthy was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1957 along with Sam Crawford. McCarthy was a manager for the Chicago Cubs (1926-1930) with a 442-321 record, New York Yankees (1931-1946) with a 1460-867 record and Boston Red Sox (1948-1950) with a 223-145 record. His 2125 wins ranks eighth all time. His winning percentage of .615 is first all time. McCarthy won seven World Series Championships with the Yankees in 1932, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1941 and 1943.
