Frankie Frisch MLB Hall of Fame 1947

Frank F Frisch was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1947 along with Mickey Cochrane, Lefty Grove and Carl Hubbell. Frisch was a 2B\3B with 19 seasons MLB experience playing with the New York Giants (1919-1926) and the St Louis Cardinals (1927-1937). For his MLB career he hit .316/.369/.432 with 105 HR, 1244 RBI, 1532 R, 419 SB in 2311 games. 

I believe his best three seasons were 1923 when he hit .348/.395/.485 with 12 HR, 111 RBI, 116 R, 29 SB in 151 games, 1930 when he hit .346/.407/.520 with 10 HR, 114 RBI, 121 R, 15 SB in 133 games and 1921 when he hit .341/.384/.485 with 8 HR, 100 RBI, 121 R, 49 SB in 153 games. 

He won the National League MVP in 1931 when he hit .311/.368/.396 with 4 HR, 82 RBI, 96 R, 28 SB in 131 games. He finished second in NL MVP voting in 1927.

Frisch led the National League in runs in 1924 (121). He led the NL in steals in 1921, 1927 (48) and 1931. 

He was an All Star three times (1933-1935). Frisch won two World Series Championships with the Giants in 1921 and 1922 and two with the Cardinals in 1931 and 1934. 

He also had a career as a manager with a 1138-1078 record for the St Louis Cardinals (1933-1938) with a 458-354 record, Pittsburgh Pirates (1940-1946) with a 539-528 record and Chicago Cubs (1949-1951) with a 141-196 total. His win total ranks 46th all time.
