Roderick J (Bobby) Wallace was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1953 along with Edward Barrow, Chief Bender, Thomas Connolly, William Klem, Dizzy Dean, Al Simmons and Harry Wright. Wallace was a SS\3B with 25 seasons MLB experience playing with the Cleveland Spiders (1894-1898), St Louis Perfectos (1899), St Louis Cardinals (1900-1901, 1917-1918), and St Louis Browns (1902-1916). For his MLB career he hit .268/.332/.358 with 34 HR, 1121 RBI, 1057 R, 201 SB in 2383 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1897 when he hit .335/.394/.504 with 4 HR, 112 RBI, 99 R, 14 SB in 130 games, 1899 when he hit .295/.357/.454 with 12 HR, 108 RBI, 91 R, 17 SB in 151 games and 1898 when he hit .270/.344/.371 with 3 HR, 99 RBI, 81 R, 7 SB in 154 games.
He also was a manager with the St Louis Browns (1911-1912) with a 57-134 record and Cincinnati Reds (1937) with a 5-20 record for a 62-154 total.
