Cody Decker traded to Rockies
Cody Decker was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Colorado Rockies on April 20, 2016 for cash. The first baseman hit .278/.381/.833 with 3 HR, 5 RBI, 4 R, 0 SB in 7 games at Triple A Omaha in 2016. He signed with the Royals in December 2015 after splitting 2015 between Triple A El Paso and the Padres. He hit .252/.335/.488 with 21 HR, 75 RBI, 52 R, 1 SB in 120 games at El Paso and was hitless in 8 games with the Padres. He was originally drafted by the Padres in the 22nd round in 2009. Decker turned 29 on January 17.
