New York Mets 2013 Minor League Players of the Year

Allan Dykstra and Kevin Plawecki were  the New York Mets Minor League Co-Players of the Year in 2013.

Dykstra is a first baseman who played 2013 at Double A Binghamton where he hit .274/.436/.503 with 21 HR, 82 RBI, 56 R, 0 SB in 122 games. He was originally drafted by the Padres with the 23rd pick of the first round in 2008. Dykstra turned 26 on May 21.

Plawecki is a C\1B who split 2013 between Class A Savannah and Class A Advanced St Lucie. He hit .314/.390/.494 with 6 HR, 43 RBI, 35 R, 1 SB in 65 games at Savannah and hit .294/.391/.392 with 2 HR, 37 RBI, 25 R, 0 SB in 60 games at St Lucie. He was originally drafted by the Mets with the 35th pick of the first round in 2012. Plawecki will be 23 on February 26.
