Michael Wacha of the St Louis Cardinals was the MVP of the 2013 National League Championship Series. Against the Los Angeles Dodgers he was 2-0, 0.00 ERA, 13 K, 0.66 WHIP in 13.2 IP over 2 games. The RHP split 2013 between Triple A Memphis and the Cardinals. He was 5-3, 2.65 ERA, 73 K, 0.99 WHIP in 85.0 IP over 15 games at Memphis and was 4-1, 2.78 ERA, 65 K, 1.10 WHIP in 64.2 IP over 15 games with the Cardinals. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals with the 19th pick of the first round in 2012. Wacha turned 22 on July 1st.
