Chicago White Sox 2013 Minor League Player of the Year
Marcus Semien was the Chicago White Sox Minor League Player of the Year in 2013. The SS/2B/3B split 2013 between Double A Birmingham, Triple A Charlotte and the White Sox. He hit .290/.420/.483 with 15 HR, 49 RBI, 90 R, 20 SB in 105 games at Birmingham, hit .264/.338/.464 with 4 HR, 17 RBI, 20 R, 4 SB in 32 games at Charlotte and hit .261/.268/.406 with 2 HR, 7 RBI, 7 R, 2 SB in 21 games with the White Sox. He was originally drafted by the White Sox in the sixth round in 2011. Semien turned 23 on September 17.
